PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give an added value to a trading card from a new perspective.SOLUTION: A trading card includes: a main section with at least one surface on which any of a plurality of characters is depicted; and an electronic component capsulated in the main section for performing non-contact communication. The electronic component includes: a storage unit for storing data associated with the character depicted on the main section; and a circuit for writing data received from an external device by non-contact communication into the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
