<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint with a simple structure, which is reduced in cost, easily fitted to a narrow space, and easily attached and detached. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint includes a male member 24 having: a through hole 24a in the axial direction, one end of which is provided with an insert part 30 to which a hose 12 can be connected, the other end of which is provided with a fitting part 26, and the intermediate part of which is provided with a rugged fitting part 28. The pipe joint has a lock ring 32 cut by a slit 34 to be formed substantially like a ring, and mounted on the fitting part 28, and a locking part 38 is formed on the outer periphery of one end part thereof. The pipe joint includes a female member 14 provided with: a communicating hole 14a communicated with the through hole 24a, in which the fitting part 26 of the male member 24 is inserted; and a locked groove 21 where the locking part 38 of the lock ring 32 can be locked on the inner surface side of the communicating hole 14a.
