PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable battery-less emergency traveling over a sufficiently long distance using a control system of a hybrid vehicle even if during traveling of the hybrid vehicle, a battery defect arises in a high-voltage power source, and to effectively prevent a steering assist force from changing rapidly during traveling.
SOLUTION: A control system 58 includes a control section 71 having a high-voltage power source defect processing means 100. During execution of a mode in which the high voltage of a high-voltage battery 60, i.e., a high-voltage power source, is reduced so that the reduced voltage is supplied to an EPS (Electric Power Steering device) 64, when a defect occurs in the high-voltage battery 60, the high-voltage power source defect processing means 100 shifts to execution of a mode in which the low voltage of a low-voltage battery 62 is increased and supplied to the EPS 64, then disconnects the high-voltage battery 60 and a driving circuit 72 from each other, then shifts to a mode in which a voltage corresponding to power generated by a generator 14 is reduced and supplied to the EPS 64, and drives a traveling motor 16 using the generator 14.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
