摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Coriolis vibratory gyroscope system that substantially mitigates bias and scale-factor error.SOLUTION: An embodiment electrostatically forces a resonator 52 into a periodic motion on the basis of a drive axis forcer signal SIGapplied to forcer electrodes 54 and a sense axis force-rebalance signal SIGapplied to force-rebalance electrodes 56, and provides a sense axis pickoff signal POand a drive axis pickoff signal PO. A gyroscope controller generates the drive axis forcer signal SIGon the basis of the drive axis pickoff signal PO, and calculates an angular rate of rotation about an input axis 70 on the basis of the sense axis force-rebalance signal SIG. The gyroscope controller modulates a predetermined disturbance signal component onto the sense axis force-rebalance signal SIGand controls a modulation phase of the sense axis force-rebalance signal SIGon the basis of detection of the predetermined disturbance signal component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
