PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device that can be operated without a direct touch on a screen.SOLUTION: A motion sensor 40 detects a position of a user's hand, and detects a locus of the user's fingertip in an operation detection area provided so as to cover a screen of an information display part 20A. An information terminal 20 discriminates whether a signal from the motion sensor 40 is related to the detection of the position of the user's hand or to the locus of the user's fingertip in the operation detection area at a motion information calculation section 52. When the signal is related to the position of the user's hand, a rotation drive part 26A is controlled by a rotation control program 54, and the information display part 20A is caused to face a user. When the signal is related to the locus of the user's fingertip, general information corresponding to an operation extracted from the locus of the fingertip is acquired from a network 70 by a general information processing program, and is caused to be displayed in the information display part 20A through a display information calculation section 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
