PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor arrangement which is used both for standard applications and for fail-safe applications and has a cost-effective compact structure.SOLUTION: A sensor arrangement for detecting a safe installation state of an automated installation has an input circuit 60 to receive a first input signal 66c and a further input signal 66a. The first input signal 66c depends on a safety-related installation state, and the further input signal 66a depends on a standard installation state. The sensor arrangement also has an evaluation unit. The evaluation unit evaluates the first input signal 66c in a fail-safe manner and, on the basis thereof, generates first and second output signals 76, 78 at first and second outputs 68, 70, with the first and second output signals constituting a redundant signal pair which signals the safe installation state in combination. The evaluation unit also evaluates the further input signal 66a and generates a third output signal 80 at the first output 68 and a fourth output signal 82 at the second output 70, with the third and fourth output signals 80, 82 constituting a non-redundant signal pair which differs from the redundant signal pair. |
