PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external operation handle device of a switch which is provided an off locking prevention function when a main contact point is welded and in which both of a on/off-locking and an off-locking can be done by one kind. SOLUTION: A locking member 14 is provided on an operation handle 11 and can be pulled out, and a locking position setting means 21 in which a relative angle position around an axial center of a rotating axis 11a of the operation handle as a center can be changed with respect to the operation handle and which locks with the locking member 14 when the relative angle position is in a predetermined position and can prevent a rotation of the operation handle. The operation handle 11 and the locking position setting means 21 are composed so that a relative angle position with the switch 102 around the axial center of the rotating axis 11a as a center can be changed in accordance with a setting direction of the switch on the housing.
