PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault in collective conducting wires which are continuous in a nondestructive state.SOLUTION: An AC magnetic field is applied to collective conducting wires formed by bundling a plurality of conducting wires in a direction vertical to a wire length direction of the collective conducting wires by a magnetic field application part 5, and a magnetic flux density and a magnetic field strength at a position of the collective conducting wires at the application time of the AC magnetic field are measured by a magnetic flux density sensor 10 and a magnetic field strength sensor 12, and it is determined whether the collective conducting wires have a fault or not by a detector 200 based on the measured magnetic flux density and magnetic field strength.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
