PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device which can stably supply electric power without deteriorating energy efficiency of the whole fuel cell device even when an object to which the electric power is supplied has a low load.SOLUTION: A fuel cell device 1 comprises: an active fuel supply device 3 which supplies fuel to a fuel cell 2 by an active method; a passive fuel supply device 4 which supplies fuel to the fuel cell 2 by a passive method; a fuel supply switching part 5 which is connected to both fuel supply devices of the active fuel supply device 3 and the passive fuel supply device 4, and switches the fuel supply devices so that both or one of the fuel supply devices supply the fuel to the fuel cell 2; and a state detection part 6 which detects an output state of the fuel cell device 1, and also performs switching control of the fuel supply switching part 5. The state detection part 6 is constituted so as to switch the fuel supply devices for supplying the fuel to the fuel cell 2 by the fuel supply switching part 5 according to the detected output state. |
