<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device which does not require a high-output lamp, efficiently converts ultraviolet light radiated from a light source into red parallel beams, thereby achieving improvement in the lives of the light source and peripheral equipment. <P>SOLUTION: In the projection display device, a band pass filter 11 reflecting light of 400 to 600 nm wavelength and 650 to 800 nm wavelength, a light wavelength conversion element 12 absorbing the ultraviolet light and emitting red fluorescence, and a cold mirror 13 reflecting the red light are formed on a reflector 2 which changes the light from the light source 1 to the parallel beams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
