摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain variation in driving voltage held in a pixel capacitor from varying under the influence of coupling of a parasitic capacitor formed between the pixel and a circumferential varying potential source. SOLUTION: The driving method of a liquid crystal display device is the one for driving a plurality of pixels 107 connected to the same scanning line G on a time-division basis in one selection period of the scanning line G. The time-division driving order of the plurality of pixels 107 for each frame is made different from that for the last frame and some of the plurality of pixels 107 are driven in first timing in the one selection period. A first pixel driven in the first timing is driven with the inverted polarity of the polarity of driving of the last frame, and a second pixel which is driven in second timing after the first timing and adjacent to the first pixel among the plurality of pixels 107 is driven with the same polarity as the polarity with which the second pixel is driven for the last frame.
