PURPOSE: A valve stem sealing member enables lubrication of the valve stem with stored oil even if oil fails to be supplied due to freezing of engine oil in severe cold weather, as the saving unit saves engine oil smoothly supplying engine oil with the valve stem sealing member. CONSTITUTION: A valve stem sealing member includes a rubber member and the spring (130). Said rubber member is combined with the reinforcement member (110), and adjoins the valve stem (2) and a valve guide. Said spring surrounded by said rubber member, and causes elastic bias toward said valve stem direction. Said rubber member comprises the joint (122), the column part (124), and the saving unit (129) Said joint surrounds said reinforcement member. Said column part is formed in inclination toward a direction causing interference in said valve stem, with the cross section being formed in a mountain shape. Said saving unit is formed so as to be extended in an opposite direction to said engine port from said column part, and saves oil supplied to said column part in a separate arrangement from said valve stem. |
