PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-load transmission belt having a long service life and reduced in friction quantity in a contact surface with a pulley, while maintaining a friction coefficient of a block and mechanical strength such as rigidity. SOLUTION: This high-load transmission belt 1 is formed of a plurality of blocks 2 provided with a predetermined pitch along the longitudinal direction of a center belt 3. The block 2 is formed of a resin composition obtained by blending a fiber reinforcing material such as a carbon fiber and an aramid fiber and an antifrictional material such as graphite in a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin of 30-89 mass%, the fiber reinforcing material of 10-60 mass% and the antifrictional material of 1-50 mass% are blended in relation to the total quantity of the composition.
