PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion device capable of smoothly inserting a device into a pipe conduit.SOLUTION: An insertion tool 300 is used to insert a device into a pipe conduit 500. The insertion tool 300 includes a second insertion plate part 320 that is formed into a planar shape and of which flexural rigidity is within a range of 1200000 N mmor less, and a pair of wheels 350 provided at the tip of the second insertion plate 320.
