PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cooker capable of making a highly nutritious soup by increasing nutrient components while preventing oxidation of the nutrient components. SOLUTION: The electric cooker includes a main body 1 with a built-in motor 2; a vessel 6 detachably placed on the main body 1; a cutter 9 connected to the motor to cut foods in the vessel 6, heating means 21 which heats the inside of the vessel 6; a lid 15 which covers the vessel; temperature detection means 22 which detects a temperature in the vessel 6, and a control means 23 which controls the heating means 21 based on a signal of the temperature detection means 22. The control means 23 includes a cooking program having air suction step of laying the inside of the vessel 6 in a low oxygen state and an enzyme reaction step of promoting enzyme reaction of the foods. According to this, a highly nutritious soup can be automatically cooked by attaining the low oxygen state to thereby prevent oxidation of nutrient components by laying the inside to the low oxygen state, and promoting the enzyme reaction to thereby add a new nutrient component.
