<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a cache tag test by designating nodes without acquiring wasteful memory resources, regarding a cache tag test method using an operating system in a system having a plurality of nodes including CPUs with cache tags and memory and having crossbars for interconnecting the plurality of nodes. <P>SOLUTION: The cache tag test method includes a CPU number checking part for detecting the number of CPUs included in a system; a node checking part for identifying a node carrying its own CPU with a cache tag to be tested; and a memory acquiring part for acquiring memory by designating nodes other than the node with the CPU to be tested that is detected by the CPU number checking part and the node checking part: and a memory test part for conducting a test by storing expectation value data in the memory area to be tested that is acquired by the memory acquiring part, and comparing the data in the memory area to be tested with the expectation value data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
