Line of sight initiated handshake

Technologies are generally described for systems, devices and methods effective to implement a line of sight initiated handshake. In some examples, a processor in a first communication device may detect a line of sight directed from the first communication device to a second communication device. The first communication device may send a handshake request to the second communication device. The first communication device may receive a handshake acknowledgement from the second communication device. The handshake request and handshake acknowledgement may be effective to create the handshake. The first and second communication devices can thereafter share data.

A method to initiate a handshake between a first communication device and a second communication device, the method comprising: detecting, by a processor in the first communication device, a first line of sight directed from the first communication device to the second communication device; determining, by the processor in the first communication device, that the first line of sight of the first communication device and a second line of sight of the second communication device coincide for a threshold period of time; sending a handshake request from the first communication device to the second communication device, in response to the determination; and receiving, at the first communication device, a handshake acknowledgement from the second communication device, wherein the handshake request and the handshake acknowledgement are effective to create the handshake.
