PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new catalyst unit for exhaust gas catalyst, and exhaust gas catalyst having such a catalyst unit as above.SOLUTION: A catalyst module is set in position on a supporting grid by a first percolation end part and an opposing holding jig is set in position at a second percolation end part on the opposite side of the catalyst module. The catalyst module is fastened with cramp between the supporting grid and the opposing holding jig. The opposing holding jig has a plurality of opposite holding bars running in parallel to each other. The opposite holding bars abut at a first end part against a housing structure of the exhaust gas catalyst and at the opposite side second end part cooperates with a retaining holding bar extending perpendicular to the opposite holding bar. The opposite holding bars at their second ends are connected to the retaining holding bar by connecting means extending in an axial direction of the opposite holding bar, and as a result, the opposite holding bars are connected to depress the structural elements of a housing structure by these first end parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
