PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide graphite powder stuck with metal nanoparticles excellent in electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity and suitable for the raw material for producing a graphite material for producing various electrodes, various sliding materials, various seal materials, various brake materials or the like, and a method for producing the powder.SOLUTION: Provided is graphite powder 2 in which, as the raw material for a graphite molding, metal nanoparticles 1 having an electrical conductivity of 1×10Ωmor more are stuck on graphite powder 2 by a physical vapor deposition method.
