PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite pattern formation body such that when an observation is made in the presence of transmitted light and reflected light, mutually different images appear on the top surface and the reverse surface.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite pattern formation body that has composite pattern formation regions at the same top and the reverse positions of at least a part of a base material, wherein each composite pattern formation region has a watermark pattern visible in the presence of transmitted light and a first print pattern formed with colored ink different from the color of the base material on one surface of the composite pattern formation region, a first composite pattern being a significant pattern is formed from the watermark pattern and the first print pattern, and the first print pattern is formed having an opaqueness of equal to or larger than or less than 2% of a reference value on the basis of the opaqueness of the base material. |
