PURPOSE: An air bag device for a vehicle is provided to prevent an air bag from excessively expanding to the passenger side when initially expanding the air bag caused by a car crash. CONSTITUTION: The air bag device comprises:a cover(130) and a floor board making an external appearance; an air bag installed to be folded inside the cover; a gas generator(110) installed in the opening of the air bag and expanding the air bag by generating gas when crashing into other cars; an air bag expanding blocking plate(200) blocking not to expand to the front of the air bag when initially expanding the air bag; a combining hole(200a) formed in one side of the blocking plate; and a hanging ring(210) that is inserted into the combining hole, installed on the floor board. |
