<p>The prosthesis (1) is assembled of a tibia part (2), a femur part (3), and the meniscus part (4) positioned between them, all movable joined to one another and provided with the appropriately shaped surfaces (7, 13, 14, 22, 23). A short hollow shaft (27) serving as the rotation axle is guided through openings (26) in the femur module (3) and the head (31) of the pivot (32). The openings (26) are closed with a set of two lids (28, 29) on either side, provided with particularly shaped projections in order to engage with grooves located at the edges of the main opening (26).</p> |
