<p>The automatic transmission gear (1) can be switched into six forward gears and one reverse gear. Two of gear switch elements (7,8,9,10,11) are engaged and three released in each of the gears selected. At least one of the elements (7,8,9,10,11) used for the next combination is prepared during the performance of the previous switching process in order to facilitate an immediate performance of the following operation as soon as the synchronization is achieved. A multiple switch is preferred to an individual switch.</p> |
