<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modulation signal generator circuit, transmitter/receiver module and a radar device for a solution of the problem that temperature drift of frequency output from VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) is large, and acquisition of specific FM modulation wave within legal frequency range requires setting of modulation correction voltage for achieving a modulation linearity per temperature to have taken an enormous quantity of correction voltage data, tests, and time for adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: In this solution, a frequency temperature drift of VCO is compensated with frequency compensation voltage and allowed FM operation with modulation voltage containing a certain temperature-independent DC component. Thus a variation in modulation sensitivity caused by temperature can be reduced, temperature data of the modulation correction voltage for achieving a modulation linearity of the output signal can drastically be simplified, leading to a significant reduction of testing and time for adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
