<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate detection of the occurrence of tracking with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The tracking detection device for an overhead insulated wire is constituted of: a spacer 3 provided on the outer periphery of the overhead insulated wire 5 in a tracking occurrence prediction place 7 of easily causing tracking in the overhead insulated wire 5, covered with a device body 9 and composed of material to be eroded by the occurrence of tracking; a cable 11 with its one end side embedded in the spacer 3 and the other end side loosened and fixed to the overhead insulated wire 5; and a weight 13 suspended by the cable 11 so as to allow one end side of the cable 11 to be removed from the spacer 3 when the spacer 3 is eroded by the occurrence of the tracking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
