PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating fluidized gasification furnace capable of accelerating gasification of a raw material in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The circulating fluidized bed gasification furnace includes: a combustion furnace 1; a cyclone dust collector 4 for collecting a circulation medium 5 by introducing combustion gas 3 taken out from the combustion furnace 1; a fluidized bed gasification furnace 8 that forms a fluidized bed 10 by introducing through a downcomer 7 the circulation medium 5 collected by the cyclone dust collector 4 and supplying a gasification agent 9 from below and that gasifies a material 12 by supplying the material 12 to a free board 11; and a circulation channel 14 for returning the circulation medium and not-gasified, non-reacted char in the fluidized bed gasification furnace 8 back to the combustion furnace 1, wherein the lower end of the downcomer 7 connected with the cyclone dust collector 4 is connected with the free board 11 of the fluidized bed gasification furnace 8 through a sealed portion 18, and a material feeder 20 for feeding the material 12 to the circulation medium 5 between the sealed portion 18 and the free board 11 is provided.
