PURPOSE: To reduce the use of silver and reduce or eliminate the use of lead (lead glass) in a solar battery and a manufacturing method for a solar battery.CONSTITUTION: A solar battery is provided with an area for producing high electron density when light or the like is emitted onto a substrate, forms on the area an insulation film through which light or the like is transmitted, and has a bus electrode for extracting electrons from an electron extraction port formed in the insulation film. In the solar battery, conductive glass of 20% to 70% by weight ratio is mixed as glass frit into conductive paste and baked to form a bus electrode.
