<p>A convenient detection method excelling in sensitivity and specificity that in the treating step of an analyte containing an analytical subject, such as impurity removal, is capable of efficient reaction of a labeling reagent with the analytical subject so as to achieve rapid detection; a relevant detection apparatus; and a relevant detection kit. There is provided a method of detecting an analytical subject from an analyte, comprising the step of bringing a labeling reagent, the labeling reagent containing a ligand capable of specific binding to the analytical subject, into contact with the analyte and the step of feeding the analyte/labeling reagent mixture to a solid-phase support having, immobilized thereon, a capture reagent capable of specific binding to the analytical subject, wherein the step of bringing the labeling reagent into contact with the analyte is carried out outside the region of the solid-phase support and site in contact with the region of the solid-phase support. Further, there is provided a detection apparatus comprising a solid-phase support having, immobilized thereon, a capture reagent capable of specific binding to an analytical subject contained in an analyte; and provided a kit for detecting an analytical subject from an analyte, comprising a device for addition of an analyte containing a labeling reagent containing a ligand capable of specific binding to an analytical subject.</p> |
