PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene sleeve and a polyethylene sleeve-covering method by means of which a prevention function against corrosion or electrolytic corrosion can be excellently maintained and an object to be covered can be covered with the polyethylene sleeve without hindrance even in a state in which another pipe is connected to a pipe branching section of the object.SOLUTION: A polyethylene sleeve 11 covers an object 10 to be covered having a main pipe portion 2 and a branched pipe section 3, and includes a sheet like polyethylene covering material 12 in which an inclined side part 12b is formed and a fastener 13 attached to each inclined side part 12b of a polyethylene covering-material 12. The polyethylene covering-material 12 is wound on the main pipe portion 2 in a peripheral direction and the fasteners 13 opposed to each other are joined, and as a result, the object 10 to be covered can be covered in such an attitude that both end parts of the main pipe portion 2 and the end part of the branched pipe section 3 are projected from the polyethylene covering-material 12.
