<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeater system in which communication devices connected to different communication lines are enabled to detect their operational states each other and to perform control corresponding to the operational states of the other communication devices, and to provide a communication system including the repeater system and a communication method. <P>SOLUTION: Each of electronic control units (ECUs) 4a, 4a, ... notifies a distribution device 1a connected via a communication line 3a of its own state. The distribution device 1a creates state information indicating the states of the ECUs 4a, 4a, ... on the basis of state notifications received from the connected ECUs 4a, 4a, ... and transmits the state information to other distribution devices 1b, 1c together with data to be transmitted for synchronizing a database 11a. The other ECUs 4b, 4b, ..., 4c, 4c, ... and the distribution devices 1b, 1c also perform similar processing, so that the distribution devices 1a, 1b, 1c share the states of all the ECUs 4a, 4a, ..., 4b, 4b, ..., 4c, 4c, ..., respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
