PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiency desalting an organic matter in an electrodialysis vessel.SOLUTION: An organic matter desalination method is provided in which an organic matter containing inorganic salts is desalinated by desalinating the organic matter in an electrodialysis vessel. An electrodialysis vessel 3 is an electrodialysis vessel which is constructed in such a manner that anion exchange membranes 5 and cation exchange membranes 6 are alternately arranged between electrodes 4, 7. The cation exchange membrane 6 contains polyvinyl alcohol copolymer having anionic polymer segment having anionic group and vinyl alcohol polymer segment. As the cation exchange membrane 6, a cation exchange membrane is used which has a microphase separation structure in which domain size (X) is in a range 0 nm<X≤150 nm. |
