PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality by making the rotation of a photoreceptor drum smooth by smoothly driving a process cartridge and positioning it. SOLUTION: In this device, the transmission of drive is carried out by couplings 37a and 39a and the adjustment of the core of a drum shaft is carried out by having an exterior part of a cylinder 39b where a coupling 39a of a main body driving gear is formed and a core adjustment engaging part 37b engaged. Furthermore, the positioning in the direction of the drum shaft is carried out by thrust or by energy of a spring by having a twisted triangle pole and a hole for the triangle pole of each of the couplings 37a and 39a engaged loosely.
