<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing program that, if there are a plurality of combinations of communication methods and authentication methods, can quickly extract the combination of the communication method and the authentication method matching an external device, while reducing control loads. <P>SOLUTION: If the result of an inquiry to a computer on a network is NG (S121: No), the next list of combinations is set even in the case of communication methods and authentication methods not used for the inquiry, so an inquiry based on the next list of combinations can be made without making inquiries using all the communication methods and the authentication methods that make up one list of combinations.
