摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle that ensures the traveling stability of a vehicle, as well as, improves the accelerability of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When a slip has not occurred in drive wheels 36a, 36b, a motor 22 is controlled (S180 to S210, S270), such that a torque be output to have limited a required torque Td* within the range of a maximum torque Tmax, based on a maximum frictional coefficient &mu;max of a travel road surface. As a result, the occurrence of slips at the drive wheels 36a, 36b is suppressed, as well as, the accelerability of vehicle is improved. Also, when slippage has occurred in drive wheels 36a, 36b, the motor 22 is controlled (S220 to S270), so that a torque be output to have limited the required torque Td*, within the range of a torque for grip Tglip smaller than the maximum torque Tmax.
