PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding system, a welding power supply device, and a feeding control method therefor such that the welding power supply device can recognize a wire feeding device connected to the welding power supply device, and suitably control variation in feeding speed of a welding wire according to the connected wire feeding device.SOLUTION: There is provided a welding system A which feeds a welding wire from a wire feeding device 2 to a welding torch 3 according to a wire feed command output from the welding power supply device 1, which acquires performance information on a feeding motor 22, installed in the wire feeding device 2, from the wire feeding device 2. Then the welding power supply device 1 generates, based upon the acquired performance information, a wire feed command so that a feed speed of the welding wire varies. The generated wire feed command is transmitted from the welding power supply device 1 to the wire feeding device 2, which feeds the welding wire to the welding torch 3 based upon the received wire feed command.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
