Signal transmission method for semiconductor circuits

The method involves connecting a signal transmission path (LIN) having a predetermined characteristic impedance with an integrated semiconductor circuit which transmits and receives signals. A signal is fed to the signal transmission path using a driving circuit (10) with an output impedance having the same value as the characteristic impedance of the transmission path. Preferably, the signal transmission path has an unsymmetrical transmission path, an output driver for a positive signal sequence and a second output driver for a negative signal sequence. The first and second output driver have an output impedance which has the same value as the characteristic impedance of the signal transmission path.
