PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally seal envelopes of different sizes without waste.SOLUTION: There is provided a sealing device 1 in which any one of a paste unit 20 out of the paste unit 20, on which a paste tape corresponding to envelopes 10 of individually different sizes is mounted, is mounted on a device body 30 and which is mounted on a flap 11a of the envelopes 10 and which performs sealing by transferring an adhesive of a paste unit 80 mounted to the flap 11a of the envelope 10 to adhere the flap 11a to an envelope body 11. A conveyance plate 150 adjusts a transfer amount of the adhesive transferred to the flap 11a by adjusting a distance from a folding position of the envelope 10 to a sticking start point where the flap 11a and the paste tape 80 abut against each other corresponding to an envelope to be sealed. |
