PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming material with an antistatic layer excellent in scuffing and cracking resistances and adhesiveness to a silver halide emulsion layer and a hydrophilic polymer and free from the deterioration of electric conductivity after processing. SOLUTION: The image forming material has an undercoat layer on at least one face of a base, an antistatic layer containing an electrically conductive composition obtained by heat-treating a composition containing high molecular fine particles having a functional group and a water-soluble polymer capable of reacting with the functional group at 50-90 deg.C on the undercoat layer and a layer containing a hydrophilic resin on the antistatic layer.
