PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect the gradation characteristics at imaging an MTF measurement chart on MTF measurement while measurement error due to noise is reduced. SOLUTION: An MTF measuring device 20 of digital imaging system which uses a photoelectric conversion element comprises an MTF measuring means where, a plurality of edge spread functions(ESF) are generated from a digital image of a knife-edge chart using the digital imaging system. A line spread function(LSF) is acquired from the difference of the plurality of edge spread functions(ESF), and the line spread function(ISF) is synthesized so that a synthesized line spread function (synthesized LSF) is converted into a frequency region, so that the frequency characteristics of the synthesized line spread function (synthesized LSF) is corrected to calculate an MTF.
