摘要 The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food, containing, as an active ingredient, an organic solvent fraction obtained from a hot-water extract or an ethanol extract of Sorbus commixta fruits for prevention or treatment/alleviation of thrombosis. As proved through examples in the present specification, a hexene fraction and an ethyl acetate fraction of Sorbus commixta fruits, which are as active ingredients of the pharmaceutical composition and the health functional food for prevention or treatment of thrombosis, of the present invention, are obtained by conducting hot-water extraction or ethanol extraction of Sorbus commixta fruits, and then sequentially fractionating the extract using hexene, ethyl acetate, and butanol. The hexene fraction and the ethyl acetate fraction exhibit strong anti-thrombotic activity by the inhibition of thrombus generation-relating enzymes and blood coagulation factors, which are not identified in the extracts of Sorbus commixta fruits, and the inhibition of the aggregation of platelets performing the initiation of thrombus generation, and can be used for prevention and treatment of thrombosis, such as ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke, through the improvement of blood circulation. Therefore, the hexene or ethyl acetate fraction of the extracts of Sorbus commixta fruits of the present invention has excellent thermal stability, maintains the blood coagulation factor inhibitory effect and thrombus generation-related enzyme inhibitory effect even in acidic condition of pH 2 and in the plasma, and thus can be processed into various forms, such as an extract, a powder, a pill, and a tablet, and can be prepared in a form that can be usually administered. Therefore, the present invention is very useful in the pharmaceutical industry and the food industry.
