PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decompression device for a motor cycle capable of facilitating starting without causing an increase in weight of a vehicle and to provide a motor cycle provided with the decompression device.SOLUTION: A decompression device 1 for a motor cycle comprises an exhaust cam shaft 2, a decompression shaft 3 installed inside the exhaust cam shaft 2 and a centrifugal governor 4. The decompression shaft 3 comprises connecting members 30, 31, a decompression pin 32 and a decompression releasing pin 33. When a position of the connecting member 30 with respect to the exhaust cam shaft 2 is set at an initial position, the decompression pin 32 is protruded out of a hole to pressurize a valve lifter when a rotation angle of the exhaust cam shaft 2 becomes a rotation angle in a first range. On the other hand, when a position of the connecting member 30 with respect to the exhaust cam shaft 2 is changed from the initial position to the final position, the decompression releasing pin 33 receives a pressing force from a valve lifter 11 and moves toward the inside of a hole 24. As a result, the decompression pin 32 moves toward the inside of the hole and the pressurization of the valve lifter by the decompression pin 32 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
