PURPOSE: A method for controlling a reverse power of a mobile station located in a hand off region of a code division multiple access(CDMA) mobile communication system is provided to use a reverse power controlling command from a base station with a strongest receiving pilot signal in the hand off region having different transceiving frequency environments, to control a transmitting power of the mobile station, so as to control the transmitting power of the mobile station momentarily increased while communicating with one channel. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station located in a hand off region receives power controlling commands from many base stations supplying services to the mobile station(ST21), and measures pilot signal intensity from each base station(ST22). The mobile station selects a base station having the strongest pilot signal. If a power controlling command from the base station is a power decreasing command, the mobile station decreases a transmitting power. If the power controlling command is not the power decreasing command, the mobile station increases the transmitting power. |
