PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell excellent in mechanical strengths and highly electroconductive, that is, having a small specific volume resistivity. SOLUTION: A diamine in an amount of 7-25 pts.wt. and maleic acid or maleic anhydride in amount of 5-22 pts.wt. as essential ingredients are incorporated with 100 pts.wt. of an electroconductive filler. The diamine and maleic acid are homogeneously mixed and heated for 20 min to 3 hr at 40-100 deg.C to allow to react. In the case of the combination of the diamine and maleic anhydride, they are homogeneously mixed and heated for 1 hr at 60 deg.C to allow to react. Then, an electroconductive filler is added thereto and the mixture is heated and kneaded at 100-140 deg.C. |
