POLISHING DEVICE AND POLISHING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device capable of polishing the whole circumference of the edge of the tip part of a spiral wire rod and to provide a polishing method using the same. SOLUTION: This polishing device rotates the spiral wire rod HW around its spiral axis and chamfers and polishes its tip part while circumferentially rotating the tip of the spiral wire rod HW around the spiral axis. This polishing device has a polishing member BT which is constituted to follow the rotation of the tip part abutting on the tip part of the spiral wire rod and move relatively to the spiral wire rod HW.
