PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fountain apparatus for use in interior decoration that can reduce an evaporation rate of water to decrease make-up frequency of water, stimulate vision with change of water flow and hearing with the sound of falling water and further raise anion generation and promote aroma emanation when a perfume is added to water. SOLUTION: The fountain apparatus comprises a base 2 housing a pump 1 and a main body 3 standing on the base 2. The pump 1 raises water to the top of the main body 3, which flows down and is recycled. The main body 3 is a cylinder made of a transparent material. A transparent water conduit 5 that has a nearly diamond shape and a function to divide the water flowing down from the top into two streams is installed in the main body 3. An inverse-V shaped upper water conduit 5a of the water conduit 5 includes openings 52. A V-shaped lower water conduit 5b connected with the upper water conduit 5a includes protrusions 53 to make the flowing water turbulent. The inside of the main body 3 is made through to the outside.
