PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel excellent in strength and toughness, a rotor blade of a steam turbine using the precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel and a steam turbine.SOLUTION: A precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel in an embodiment contains Cr: 8.5 to 12.5 mass%, Mo: 1 to 2 mass%, Ni: 8.5 to 11.5 mass%, Ti: 0.6 to 1.4 mass%, C: 0.0005 to 0.05 mass%, Al: 0.0005 to 0.25 mass%, Cu: 0.005 to 0.75 mass%, Nb: 0.0005 to 0.3 mass%, Si: 0.005 to 0.75 mass%, Mn: 0.005 to 1 mass% and N: 0.0001 to 0.03 mass%, and the balance is Fe and inevitable impurities. |
