METHOD FOR IDENTIFICATION OF SMOOTH-BORE WEAPON BY TRACES OF BOE ON THE ELEMENTS OF CHARGE EQUIPMENT

A method for identification of smooth-bore weapon consists in investigation of individual traces formed on the elements of cartridge filler at passage of those at shot through the bore. Criminalistic signs of identification of smooth-bore weapon are specific individual traces on the elements of cartridge filler that corresponds to roughness of the bore working surface, this is result of its marking or peculiarities of operation.
