The invention relates to a method for producing a polymer layer (100) containing at least one finely divided solid (170) for introducing solid particles (170), in particular mottling fibers, into a valuable product or security product in a simplified and reliable manner, comprising the following steps: (a) providing the at least one finely divided solid (170); (b) providing a liquid preparation (130), which contains at least one material, selected from a group comprising monomers, prepolymers, and polymers; (c) introducing the at least one finely divided solid (170) into the liquid preparation (130) and homogenizing the liquid preparation (130) such that a pre-product material (150) containing the at least one finely divided solid (170) is formed; (d) producing a layer (160) of the pre-product material (150); and (e) solidifying the pre-product material (150) such that the polymer layer (100) containing the at least one finely divided solid (170) is formed. The layer (160) of the pre-product material (150) is subjected to a pressing process for surface treatment during step (e). |
