PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which banding is inconspicuous at the joint of head blocks. SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a size storage means; an image storage means for storing quantization data in each sub-region where image data is divided according to a size stored in the size storage means; and a print head performing print processing according to the quantization data stored in the image storage means and constituted by bonding a plurality of head blocks having N pieces of nozzles such that M pieces of nozzles overlap at the joint of two adjacent head blocks. The size storage means stores the size DS<SB>L</SB>of a small region corresponding to the left end of the head block, the size DS<SB>R</SB>of a small region corresponding to the right end, and the size DS<SB>B</SB>of a small region corresponding to the central portion wherein following relation is satisfied for some integer a; DS<SB>L</SB>+DS<SB>R</SB>+aDS<SB>B</SB>=N-M/2.
