PURPOSE:To raise the heat transfer efficiency of a heat exchanging fan, by forming a plurality of projections and recesses on the surface of blades, and thereby increasing the heat transfer area of the blades. CONSTITUTION:When an impeller 1 is set into rotation, air is passed through air passages defined by a casing 2 and a partition plate 3, as shown by arrows a, b in the drawing. As for heat exchanging function, high-speed air flow is produced in channels A, B of blades 8. Here, since projections and recesses 11 are formed on the surface of the blades 8, the surface area of the blades 8 serving as the heat transfer area is increased to a great extent and air flow is disturbed considerably by the projections and recesses 11, so that almost no temperature boundary layer hindering heat transfer is formed on the surface of the blades 8. Therefore, heat can be transferred at an extremely high efficiency. |
